This type of work is among my favorite. Pieces begin in real time, either ink drawings or photography, and are then scanned and modified on the PC. Pieces are then printed on either sketch paper or good old linen paper. From there they undergo a thorough transformation by means of acrylics, gel inks, and fabric paint. From real, to digital, to super real. Most are approximately 8x10, with the exception of those that are multi piece. All are for sale, unless sold, and all are one of a kind. I may reuse an original image or photo, but don't create any 2 alike. As an artist, I dig themes and concepts, and what better way to process these ideas then through slight deviation of repetition.
